R.I.P. MAURICE GIBB

Maurice Gibb, born December 22nd, 1949, was a British musician, singer, and songwriter who was best known as a member of the BEE GEES, one of the most successful music groups of all-time.

Alongside his twin brother Robin, and his older brother, Barry, he helped form the iconic, Bee Gees. A career that spanned several decades, this trio of brothers achieved incredible success with hits like “How Can You Mend a Broken Heart?”, “To Love Somebody”, “Jive Talkin’”, “Night Fever”, “Stayin’ Alive”, “How Deep is Your Love?”, “You Should Be Dancing”, and “Tragedy” (just to name a few).

On this very day, January 12th 2003, MAURICE GIBB passed away in Miami Beach, Florida, due to complications from a twisted intestine. In memory of his passing, I have chosen an appropriate song for his final resting place (and one that you can listen to by clicking on the provided song link). Released on October 24th 1978, here’s the late MAURICE GIBB and the Bee Gees, with “TOO MUCH HEAVEN”….
